Lent begins tomorrow for those of you who practice your faith in the Roman Catholic tradition. This news elicits a unique response in each listener. Some of us are filled with excitement, others are filled with dread. It all depends on your point of view.
This year I am hoping to write a short (mostly) daily Lenten reflection from the point of view of a parent and grandparent who has loved ones in the LGBTQ community.
There are few, if any Catholic resources available for those who support their family members from this community. It is a lonely walk.
